Yogyakarta-Wednesday, 21st January 2020. A total of 20 students of the master of science program and 1 (one) doctoral student program officially hold the status of alumni after previously attending the graduation ceremony at the university level at the Grha Sabha Pramana building. The graduation ceremony took place at the BRI Auditorium building and was attended by Kusdhianto Setiawan, Sivilekonom., Ph.D., Deputy Dean of Finance, Assets, and Human Resources at FEB UGM, Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, MA, Ph.D. as Chair of the Economics Study Program, Nurul Indarti, Sivilekonom., Cand., Merc., Ph.D. as Chairman of the Management Study Program, and Rr. Tur Nastiti, Ph.D as Manager of Academic, Student and Cooperation Affairs. Also present were the parents of graduates and graduates who made the moment feel complete.
Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, MA, Ph.D., expressed his appreciation to Dr. Yandra Rahadian Perdana, M.T., a student of the Doctor of Science in Management becoming outstanding graduate. He is Industrial Engineering Lecturer at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta who not only managed to graduate quickly (4 years 1 month), but also made achievements through the publication of a journal in Q1. Referring to the statistical report, it is known that the Accounting program is the highest number of graduates, 9, followed by the Management and Economics program, each with 5 and 6 graduates, and there is 1 (one) Management Science doctoral program graduate. Furthermore, it was mentioned that the highest GPA of 3.90 was achieved by Master of Science in Management Program students namely Khairani Saladin, SE., M.Sc. In the graduation ceremony, the MD FEB UGM program has officially graduated 3,449 students with a Master of Science (M.Sc.), with details of 1,489 Accounting study programs, 708 Economics study programs, and 1252 Management study programs, and 1252 Management courses 286 doctoral students.
The event was followed by a welcoming speech by Kusdhianto Setiawan, Sivilekonom., Ph.D. in his remarks conveyed “now graduates are increasingly fast on length of study offset by quality improvements. This improved graduate statistics shows that FEB UGM is still one of the best in Indonesia”. Furthermore, Khairani Saladin, SE., M.Sc delivered a message and an impression representing the graduates. She did not forget to express his gratitude and beg for blessings from parents, lecturers, all staff and also managers, “thank you profusely to the professors, staff, beloved, and also parents who has supported. Congratulations, we have achieved M.Sc, hopefully we can maintain that good name” she added. Furthermore, the event was closed with the submission of transcripts to each graduates, as well as a group photo.
