Yogyakarta-Wednesday, July 24, 2019, a total of 24 science master students and 1 (one) doctoral program student officially hold alumni status after previously following the release of university-level graduates in the Grha Sabha Pramana building. The Master of Science and Doctorate Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) held a Graduation Ceremony in the BRI Auditorium, 3rd floor (three) and was attended by all graduates along with their parents. The happy moment took place at 11:30 WIB attended by Kusdhianto Setiawan, Sivilekonom., Ph.D. as Deputy Dean of Finance, Assets and Human Resources, Prof. Jogiyanto HM, MBA., Ph.D. as the Coordinator and Chair of the Accounting Study Program, Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, MA, Ph.D. as Chair of the Economics Study Program, Nurul Indarti, Sivilekonom., Cand., Merc., Ph.D. as Chair of the Management Study Program, and Rr. Tur Nastiti, Ph.D. as Manager of Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation.
The Graduation Ceremony began with the submission of reports on the statistics of graduates of the July 2019 period by Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, MA, Ph.D. referring to the statistical report, it is known that the Management program is the highest number of graduates, which is 12 people, followed by Accounting and Economics programs each 6 (six) graduates, and there is 1 (one) graduate doctoral program in Accounting. Furthermore, it was stated that the highest GPA of 3.82 at the same time was the youngest graduate born in 1996 with the fastest study period of 20 months, achieved by the Management Program student Ammelia Rizza Fitri Ayu L.C. Besides Ammelia, students who achieved cum laude was Sefrimel Angriani Z.N. from the Management Program. In the release of the graduates, the MD FEB UGM program has officially graduated 3,379 students with the title of Master of Science, with Accounting study program details totaling 1,453, Economics Science programs as many as 696, and Management Study Programs with 1230, and 271 doctoral students.
The event was continued with a speech delivered by Kusdhianto Setiawan, Sivilekonom., Ph.D. and the message and impression of the graduates, represented by Ammelia Rizza Fitri Ayu L.C. In the message and impression, Ammel did not forget to express his gratitude and ask for blessings to parents, lecturers, all staff and managers. Then the event was closed with the submission of transcripts to each of the graduates and graduates, as well as a group photo.
