Yogyakarta-Wednesday, 23rd October, 2019. A total of 51 students of the master of science program and 1 (one) doctoral student program officially hold the status of alumni after previously participating in the graduation ceremony at the university level at the Grha Sabha Pramana building. The Master of Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) held a Graduation Ceremony in the BRI Auditorium room, the third floor and was attended by all graduates along with their parents. The happy moment took place at 11.30 WIB and was attended by the Dean of FEB UGM, Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D., Prof. Jogiyanto HM, MBA., Ph.D. as the Coordinator and Chair of the Accounting Program, Prof. Drs. Catur Sugiyanto, MA, Ph.D. as Chair of the Economics Program, Nurul Indarti, Sivilekonom., Cand., Merc., Ph.D. as Chairman of the Management Program, and Rr. Tur Nastiti, Ph.D., as Manager of Academic, Student, and Cooperation Affairs.
The Graduation Ceremony began with the submission of the October 2019 graduation statistics report by Prof. Jogiyanto HM, MBA., Ph.D. Referring to the statistical report, it is known that the Accounting program is the highest number of graduates, 28 people, followed by the Management and Economics program, each consisting of 12 people and 11 graduates, and there are 1 (one) Doctoral of Accounting program graduates. Furthermore, it was stated that the highest GPA of 3.85 was achieved by Accounting Program students, Amelia Lintang Mahiswara. Besides Amelia, there were 11 graduates who achieved cumlaude predicate. Percentage of graduation by sex, 33% are female and 67% are male. The MD FEB UGM program has officially graduated 3,424 students with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree, with details of 1,477 Accounting programs, 705 Economics programs, and 1242 Management programs, and 284 doctoral program students.
The event was followed by a welcoming speech by Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D., and the delivery of messages and impressions from the graduates, who were represented by Amelia Lintang Mahiswara. In her message and impression, she did not forget to express her gratitude and plea for the blessing from parents, lecturers, all staff and also managers. Eventually, the event was closed with the submission of transcripts to each graduate and graduates, as well as a group photo.
