The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has held an open examination for doctoral promotion in Accounting Science for Ph.D. candidate Muhammad Roy Aziz Haryana. Mr. Rusdi Akbar, M.Sc., Ph.D., CMA., Ak., CA., Head of the Accounting Doctoral Program, acted as Chair of the Session. In the Open Examination, presented Sony Warsono, MAFIS, Ph.D. as the promoter and Prof. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Akt. also Ertambang Nahartyo, M.Sc., Ph.D.as co-promoter. In addition, the assessment team was also present which included Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M., M.B.A., Ph.D., Syaiful Ali, MIS., Ph.D., and Dian Kartika Rahajeng, M.Sc., Ph.D. The team of examiners in this trial was Dr. Julianto Agung Saputro, M.Si. dan Dr. Sumiyana, M.Si. Also attending were the families of the doctoral candidates and guests.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has held an open examination for doctoral promotion in Management Science for Ph.D. candidate Diyah Dumasari Siregar. Prof. Mamduh M. Hanafi, Ph.D., Head of the Management Doctoral Program, acted as Chair of the Session. In the Open Examination, presented Amin Wibowo, M.B.A., Ph.D. as the promoter and Dr. C. Budi Santoso, M.Bus. and Sari Sitalaksmi, M.Mgt., Ph.D. as co-promoter. In addition, the assessment team was also present which included Dr. Reni Rosari, M.B.A., Rr. Tur Nastiti, M.Si., Ph.D., and Dr. Hastuti Naibaho, M.Si. The team of examiners in this trial was Dian Ekowati, M.Si., M.AppCom(orgCh)., Ph.D. and Dr. Neuneung Ratna Hayati, M.M. Also attending were the families of the doctoral candidates, working relatives from PPM School of Management, and guests.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM participated in the Kyoto Winter School activities organized by The Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University. The activity was successfully carried out online through a Zoom meeting starting from February 28 – March 12, 2022. This activity aims to provide the understanding and facilitate critical, productive, collaborative, and creative discussions, related to ecological health, social equality, empowerment and cultural creativity in the country’s territory, parts of East and Southeast Asia, leading to compromised inclusivity and long-term sustainability.

Mrs. Wuri Handayani, M.Si., M.A., Ph.D., Secretary of Accounting Department, acted as Chair of the Session. In this Open Examination, presented Prof. Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M., M.B.A., Ph.D. as a promoter and Ertambang Nahartyo, M.Sc., Ph.D. also Singgih Wijayana, M.Sc., Ph.D. as co-promoter. In addition, the assessment team was also present, which included Fu’ad Rakhman, M.Sc., Ph.D., Zuni Barokah, M.Comm., Ph.D., and Setiyono, M.B.A., Ph.D. The team of examiners in this trial was Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. and Dr. Poppy D. I. Kusuma, M.Si. Also attending were the families of the doctoral candidates, work relatives from Universitas Kristen Maranatha, and invited guests.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has successfully held an anti-corruption public lecture with the topic “We are All Victims of Corruption” to enrich students about the dangers of corruption and the benefits of implementing anti-corruption culture. The speaker in the public lecture was Mr. Rimawan Pradiptyo, M.Sc., Ph.D. The event was held virtually through a Zoom Meeting with a total of 79 participants consisting of Master of Science and Doctoral Program students of FEB UGM.

Yogyakarta, January 10^th – 22^nd, 2022

Singapore Management University (SMU) School of Accountancy held an Accounting Masters Online Data Camp with the topic “Digital Transformation & Financial Analytics using Python.” The activity was successfully held online on January 10^th – 22^nd, 2022. The purpose of this event is to provide participants with an introduction to accounting data analytics programs and knowledge of current accounting industry trends.

Yogyakarta, February 2^nd-3^rd, 2022

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program of FEB UGM held the Academic Briefing and Researchers’ Enrichment Program (REACH Program) for new students in the 2021/2022 Even Semester. This activity lasts for two days, Wednesday-Thursday, February 2^nd -3^rd, 2022. This activity for new students is carried out online through a Zoom meeting. A total of 79 new students from the Master of Science and Doctoral Program attended the full activity.

Yogyakarta – January 26^th, 2021

In this period, FEB UGM has graduated as many as 26 students with details of 14 students from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, 6 students from the Master of Science in Economics Program, and 6 students from the Master of Science in Management Program. Wisdom and happiness were poured out at the tasyakuran graduation period in January 2022, which was held online through Zoom meeting. This event began with the submission of a report on graduate statistical data by Mrs. Zuni Barokah, M.Comm., Ph.D., Head of the Master of Science in Accounting Program of FEB UGM, as the management representative.
