On Friday, September 29 2023, the Master of Science and Doctoral Program turns 43 years old. As an expression of gratitude, the MD FEB UGM Program held a thanksgiving event by inviting all active students, teaching lecturers and education staff. The event was held in the courtyard of the FEB UGM Master of Science and Doctoral Program Building and started at 13.00 WIB with the presentation of a report from the management representative by Mr. Fu’ad Rakhman, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., CA., as Head of the Study Program Master of Science in Accounting. Then, the event continued with remarks from the Dean of FEB UGM, represented by Mr. Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., as Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, FEB UGM.
One of the main events at this thanksgiving was the launch of MD FEB UGM’s 8th book with the theme of artificial intelligence-based research, with the title “Artificial Intelligence-Based Research: Methods and Applications in Economics and Business”. The book was written by 16 authors consisting of FEB UGM lecturers and MD FEB UGM Doctoral Program students, with Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M., M.B.A., Ph.D., as the editor.
The event continued with cutting tumpeng as a symbol of gratitude for the 43 years of MD FEB UGM. The cutting of the tumpeng was carried out by Mr. Suyanto, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., as Deputy Dean for Finance, Assets and Human Resources and then given to Mr. Fu’ad Rakhman, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., CA., as Head of the Master of Science in Accounting Study Program. The celebration of the 43rd Anniversary of the FEB UGM Master of Science and Doctoral Program ended with a joint prayer led by Mr. Kuswanto.
