Yogyakarta, 12 September 2019. Student Association of Master of Accounting Program (Hima Maksi) and Communication Forum of the Master of Science Program Student (Forkomsi), Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada held a meeting in order to conduct a sharing session management work program. The event which took place in the Niaga room, 2nd Floor of the Masters and Science (MD) FEB UGM building and was opened by the chairman of the Forkomsi, Thoriq Dwi Baskoro to welcome the visit of eight Himma Maksi administrators.
Furthermore, The program began with presentations on the work programs of each division from the Forkomsi and subsequently the Chair of Himma Maksi, Pandu Kurniawan presented a work program consisting of academic and non-academic work programs along with Student and Alumni Information Systems (SIKA).
In the question and answer session, Thoriq gave an explanation of the special integration program that bridged three (3) study programs within the scope of MD FEB UGM, “the integration of the three study programs in the MD Program was not in the form of a program, but the entrance for the linkages between the courses of Economics, Management Science, and Accounting Science is through general lectures and training activities which can be followed by all study programs such as training in statistical tools, bibliometrics, and literature review”. Regarding the relationship between Forkomsi and alumni, Thoriq added: “Forkomsi and Alumni relations have not been officially or programmed so far, but efforts to maintain communication with alumni are still carried out by providing information about seminars, public lectures, etc.”
The overall program took place to tend to be familial, also agreed on several collaborative programs between Forkomsi and Himma Maksi in the form of sparing partners in various sports and training in the use of statistical tools. Himma Maksi was represented by the head of the committee, Pandu Kurniawan, expressing the need for cooperation between student-based organizations between master level study programs within the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, so that activities can be more effective both in terms of membership and range of activities, “we hope there is a partnership of student organizations between each study program at FEB UGM”.
The meeting between Forkomsi and Himma Maksi was closed with a group photo at the REPESEA photo booth on the 2nd floor of the MD FEB UGM building. -RP
