The Master of Science and Doctoral Programs of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) once again held a graduation ceremony for the January 2026 term in an atmosphere filled with solemnity, emotion, and a spirit of togetherness. The event took place at the BRI Auditorium, 3rd Floor, MD Building, FEB UGM, this event served as a special occasion to celebrate the success of the graduates who have completed their academic journey with dedication and commitment.
A total of 18 Master of Science graduates and 8 Doctoral graduates were officially graduated at the ceremony. The series of activities began at 12:00 PM WIB with remarks from the Head of the Master of Science in Economics and Doctor of Science in Economics, Rimawan Pradiptyo, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., who in his presentation congratulated and encouraged the graduates in achieving their dreams for the future. The event then continued with remarks from the Vice Dean of Academics and Student Affairs, Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D.The graduation report was then delivered by the Head of the Master of Science in Management and Doctor of Science in Management, Widya Paramita, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D. In her report, she expressed her gratitude for the graduates’ achievements and expressed her appreciation for the perseverance, hard work, and enthusiasm for learning demonstrated throughout their studies.
The proud moment was further enhanced by the awarding of Anawinta Choirunnisa as the outstanding graduate of the Master of Science in Accounting Program, with a GPA of 3.91 and cum laude honors. In her remarks, Winta expressed her gratitude to all lecturers, program administrators, and educational staff for their guidance and support throughout their studies. She also encouraged fellow graduates to continue learning, maintain integrity, and view every challenge as an opportunity to grow and benefit others.
In closing, the graduates received their transcripts from the heads of their respective study programs. The event concluded with a warm and meaningful group photo session, symbolizing their appreciation for the graduates’ struggles and achievements. An atmosphere of gratitude and pride colored the entire series of activities, emphasizing that graduation is not the end of the journey, but rather the beginning of a new step to contribute more broadly to society, the nation, and the world.
