In this period, 17 students from the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM have graduated, with details of 15 students from the Master of Science Program and two students from the Doctoral Program. Based on the details, there were nine students from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, a student from the Master of Science in Economics Program, and five students from the Master of Science in Management Program. In Doctoral Program, a student from the Doctoral Program in Accounting and a student from the Doctoral Program in Management. The graduation ceremony in period July 2022, which was held offline in the MD FEB UGM Auditorium, began with the submission of statistical data reports for graduates by Prof. Mamduh M. Hanafi, M.B.A., Ph.D., Chair of the Doctoral Program in Management FEB UGM, as the manager’s representative.
Also present was Mr. Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, M.A., Ph.D., Deputy Dean of FEB UGM for Research, Community Service, Cooperation and Alumni, to give a speech. He congratulated the graduation of all graduates from the MD FEB UGM Program. This graduation is proof of a long process that has been fought for and should be continued with a useful contribution. He advised alumni to instill a long-life learning attitude, which determines life achievements, makes future learning plans, finds communities to contribute to, and balances out achievements outside of career as an added value. Hopefully, the extraordinary investment in the MD FEB UGM Program can be a provision to contribute.
As the representative of the graduates as well as the winner of the best graduate with a GPA of 3.81, Jordan Kristanto, delivered his remarks. This alumnus of the Master of Science in Management Program expressed his deepest gratitude to the leaders, managers, lecturers, supervisors, and all educational staff of MD FEB UGM who have guided, facilitated, and supported him and all his friends until successfully completed their studies and graduated with good results. Apologies also delivered for intentional or unintentional mistakes. He also expressed his gratitude to his parents and the whole family for all their prayers and support, so they were able to complete their studies well and smoothly. Jordan also congratulated his colleagues and advised them to continue to strive to achieve their respective goals.
At the end of the session, there was a distribution of transcripts to the graduates. After completion, the celebration ended with a photo session with the leaders and managers. The whole series of events ran smoothly from start to finish. (Y)
