On Wednesday, 10 May 2023, the Master of Science and Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM held a Graduation Ceremony. The event was held at 13.00 WIB after the graduates carried out their university graduation at Grha Sabha Pramana. There was a report on graduate statistical data by the Head of the Economics Study Program Prof., Dr., Catur Sugiyanto, M.A. In his report he said that there were 48 graduates who graduated in this period, with 44 graduates from the master’s program and 4 graduates from the doctoral program. The highest GPA in the master program was achieved by Agus Sani, a graduate of the Master of Science Program in Management with a score of 3.82 and the graduate with the fastest study period achieved by Gede Andika, a graduate of the Master of Science Program in Economics with a study period of 1 year 11 months 11 days. Furthermore, the graduate with the highest GPA as well as the fastest study period in the doctoral program was achieved by Munjiati Munawaroh, a graduate of the Doctoral Program in Science Management with a grade of 3.65.
Also present were Mr. Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni to give remarks. He congratulated the graduates who had completed their studies on graduation. Mr. Gumilang said that the impact of an education and graduation will be seen in how graduates can impact and take part in their respective communities. He also hopes that all graduates will maintain a relationship with their alma mater and participate in every activity carried out by the program.
Furthermore, the representative of the best graduates as well as the graduates with the highest GPA, Agus Sani delivered his speech. The alumni of the Master of Science in Management Study Program are grateful to both parents who have supported their education, as well as all lecturers and supervisors who have provided direction and guidance during their studies. Agus Sani also expressed his gratitude to all MD FEB UGM staff who have accompanied and assisted in every learning process. Not only that, Agus Sani also congratulated the graduates for successfully graduating and facing challenges that were not easy. At the end of his speech, Agus Sani wished all graduates good luck for the next process.
At the end of the event, there was a distribution of transcripts to the graduates. The graduate with the highest GPA score, the transcript was given by Mr. Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni. Furthermore, for other graduates the transcripts are given by each head of the study program. In addition, before the event was closed there was a photo session with the graduates with the leaders and managers. The whole series of events ran well.
