Yogyakarta – October 26th, 2022
In this period, 32 students from the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM have graduated, with details of 28 students from the Master of Science Program and four students from the Doctoral Program. Based on the details, there were 13 students from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, 6 students from the Master of Science in Economics Program, and 9 students from the Master of Science in Management Program. In Doctoral Program, a student from the Doctoral Program in Accounting, two students from the Doctoral Program in Economics, and a student from the Doctoral Program in Management. The graduation ceremony in period October 2022, which was held offline in the Auditorium BRI at 3rd Floor of MD FEB UGM Building, began with the submission of statistical data reports for graduates by Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, M.A., Ph.D., Chair of the Doctoral Program in Economics FEB UGM, as the manager’s representative.
Also present was Mr. Bayu Sutikno, M.S.M., Ph.D., Vice Dean of FEB UGM for Academic and Students Affairs, to give a speech. He congratulated all graduates from the MD FEB UGM Program. This graduation is a start to giving the best for the alma mater and society in general. Rest assured that after the struggle, there is hope that achieved. He advised the alumnae to increase their leadership talk so that leadership values could be embedded in themselves, so eventually useful for others. Graduates of the Master of Science and Doctoral Program FEB UGM expected to be able to become pioneers and contribute in their respective fields.
As the representative of the graduates as well as the winner of the best graduate with a GPA of 3.90, Puspita Ghaniy Anggraini, delivered his remarks. This alumnae of the Doctoral Program in Management expressed her deepest gratitude to the leaders, managers, lecturers, supervisors, and all educational staff of MD FEB UGM, who have guided, facilitated, and motivated, so that all graduates successfully completed their studies and graduated with good results. Apologies also delivered for intentional or unintentional mistakes. She also expressed gratitude to her parents and the whole family for all their prayers and support, so were able to complete her studies well and smoothly. Puspita also expressed her gratitude to his comrades for helping and motivating each other during complete their studies.
Puspita congratulated her colleagues and advised them to continue to strive to achieve their respective goals. Earning a master’s or doctoral degree is an extraordinary gift and should be grateful for. That is the beginning of the next struggle. Degree is the consequence, and knowledge is the goal. Therefore, keep spirit because there are still many challenges that need to be faced to contribute and realize the ideals. May goodness and blessings always be with us.
At the end of the session, there was transcript’s distribution for all graduates. For graduates with honors, the transcript’s submission carried out by Mr. Bayu Sutikno, M.S.M., Ph.D. For the other graduates, transcripts submitted by the Head of the Study Program. After completion, the celebration ended with a photo session with the leaders and managers. The whole series of events ranning well from start to finish. (Y)
