On Wednesday, January 20th, 2021, 25 Master of Science Students and 1 Doctoral Student of FEB UGM have participated in the graduation procession held online. Even though it is still in a pandemic nuance, it does not reduce the graduates’ enthusiasm to follow every procession through the Zoom platform.
As a form of gratitude for the graduation of Master of Science and Doctoral (MD) students of FEB UGM, a routine event in commemoration of graduates is routinely held every period. The second period of 2020/2021 graduation ceremony was held on January 25th, 2021, through the Zoom Meeting platform.
This January graduation ceremony was attended by the Dean of FEB UGM, Mr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. Present at this forum, the Head of the management of doctoral programs in management science, accounting science and economics, Prof. Mamduh M. Hanafi, Ph.D, Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M, Ph.D Ak., CMA., CA., and Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, Ph.D. Not to forget, there was also the Head of the management science master program, Dr. Sahid Susilo Nugroho, M., Sc., Head of the accounting science master program, Zuni Barokah, M.Comm., Ph.D., CA. and master program in economics, Heni Wahyuni, M.Ec.Dev., Ph.D.
The Dean congratulates the graduates and graduates. It is hoped that the knowledge and experience gained during the studying at MD FEB UGM can be useful for graduates’ lives in the future. The graduates are also expected to maintain the integrity and values of FEB’s and UGM’s and Panca Prasetya alumni to become useful and dignified individuals. Finally, Mr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. advised that the future challenges and turbulence will be heavier. Still, the knowledge and experience gained can become provisions and lead the graduates to become useful and useful for the nation and state.
Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, Ph.D. representing the MD FEB UGM manager, in his report regarding the data on period II graduates, gave a message to MD graduates to thank their parents and loved ones for the prayers, enthusiasm, struggle, and encouragement from those who have brought the graduates to this point. He also advised the graduates to be careful in getting jobs in a crisis like this.
Elisabeth Ria Viana Praningtyas, the representative of the graduates who are also the best graduates of the January 2021 Graduation Period, expressed her deepest gratitude to the lecturers who have provided extraordinary knowledge and experience and also to the educators who have been studying in the MD building always sincerely and sincerely provide assistance and encouragement to the graduates.
At the end of the event, as a marker of the end of the struggle at MD and the beginning of other battles, the graduates took pictures online with the Dean, Mr. and Mrs. administrators of MD FEB UGM, as well as all staff members in the Master of Science and Doctoral Program of FEB UGM.
