The Forum Komunikasi Mahasiswa Magister Sains (Forkomsi) of FEB UGM successfully hosted the Angkringan MD event with the theme “Ngopi, Ngobrol, dan Sehat Mental“ on Friday, November 22, 2024. The event featured Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psikolog, and was held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM WIB at the Hall of the Learning Center, 1st Floor, FEB UGM.

This Angkringan MD created a relaxed atmosphere to discuss mental health while enjoying warm beverages. With a cozy and friendly ambiance, the event highlighted the importance of maintaining mental wellness amidst the academic pressures often faced by master’s program students. The session began with welcoming remarks from Forkomsi’s representative, M. Kahfienka, as the Chief of Forkomsi for the 2024 period, followed by a presentation from Ms. Nurul Kusuma, an expert in mental health. She shared valuable insights on recognizing the causes of stress, maintaining emotional balance, and building supportive environments within academic settings.

Beyond the presentation, the informal conversation format allowed participants to connect authentically, making the session not only informative but also personally relevant. The event concluded with light-hearted activities and snacks, leaving a positive impression and a reminder to all participants to prioritize their mental health.
