The Ph.D. candidate was able to answer questions well and fluently and defended the argument for her dissertation entitled “Concept of Consumer-Brand Connectedness in Customer Engagement Behavior in Social Media: Perspective of Attachment Theory,” so that she successfully graduated with the predicate “very satisfying.”
For information, Dr. Dwi Martiyanti focuses on the concept of consumer and brand relationships in the context of customer engagement on social media. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of brand attachment and brand self-expression on customer engagement behavior. Based on the theory, there is an indirect effect between the independent variable and the dependent variable, so this study uses brand love as a mediator and customer intensity as a moderator.
In her research, she explores various factors that influence customer engagement on social media. The subject of this research is generation Y because it is relevant to the research object, namely customer engagement behavior on social media. Generation Y has a high tendency to access social media actively.
This lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Mulawarman officially holds the 5391st doctoral degree who passed the exam at Universitas Gadjah Mada, and the 310th who passed the exam at FEB UGM.
