Yogyakarta – April 20th, 2022
In this period, FEB UGM has graduated 24 students, with details of 19 students from the Master of Science Program and 5 students from the Doctoral Program. Based on the details, there were 6 students from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, 2 students from the Master of Science in Economics Program, and 11 students from the Master of Science in Management Program. In Doctoral Program, 2 students from the Doctoral Program in Accounting and 3 students from the Doctoral Program in Management. Graduation celebrations in April 2022 period, which was held online via Zoom meeting, began with the submission of statistical data reports for graduates by Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M., M.B.A., Ph.D., Chair of the Doctoral Program in Accounting FEB UGM, as the manager’s representative.
Also attending was Mr. Bayu Sutikno, M.S.M., Ph.D., the Deputy Dean of FEB UGM for Academic and Student Affairs, who gave a speech. He congratulated the graduation of all graduates from the MD FEB UGM Program. All the exams were taken during the study, maybe only a small part of the actual exam, namely the off-campus exam. Hopefully, what was obtained in the MD FEB UGM Program can be a provision to contribute. He advised the alumni to maintain the good name and quality of the alma mater.
As a representative of the graduates as well as the winner of the best graduate with a GPA of 3.87, Aswab Mahasin, delivered his remarks. This alumnus of the Master of Management Science Study Program expresses his deepest gratitude to the leaders, managers, lecturers, supervisors, and all educational staff of MD FEB UGM who have guided, facilitated, and supported him and all his friends until completed successfully their studies and graduated with good results. Apologies are also conveyed for intentional or unintentional mistakes. He would like to express gratitude to the parents and the whole family for all their prayers and support so that they were able to complete their studies well and smoothly. Aswab also advised his colleagues to continue to be enthusiastic about achieving their goals and striving to provide benefits.
The celebration ended with a photo session with the leaders and managers. After that, the graduates are welcome to take part in a friendly session with the head of their respective study programs. The whole series of events ran smoothly from start to finish. (Y)
