In this period, FEB UGM has graduated as many as 26 students with details of 14 students from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, 6 students from the Master of Science in Economics Program, and 6 students from the Master of Science in Management Program. Wisdom and happiness were poured out at the tasyakuran graduation period in January 2022, which was held online through Zoom meeting. This event began with the submission of a report on graduate statistical data by Mrs. Zuni Barokah, M.Comm., Ph.D., Head of the Master of Science in Accounting Program of FEB UGM, as the management representative.
In this graduation ceremony, also present Mr. Suyanto, M.B.A., Ph.D., Deputy Dean of FEB UGM, to give a speech. He congratulated the graduates, who had successfully completed their studies at the MD FEB UGM Program. All the hard work while studying at MD FEB UGM, of course, can forge to get used to persevering, working hard, innovating, and being strong in facing various things in achieving goals. He advised alumni to maintain the good name of the alma mater and continue to contribute in various aspects.
As the representative of the graduates also as the best graduate with a GPA of 3.88, Firdaus Kurniawan, delivered his remarks. This alumnus of the Master of Science in Accounting Program expresses his deepest gratitude to the leaders, managers, lecturers, supervisors, and all education staff of FEB UGM, who have guided, facilitated, supported, assisted during the study until they succeed. The deepest gratitude goes to the parents, who always support and pray for each step of the way. Firdaus also supported his friend to be enthusiastic, work hard, and keep remembering God, because no effort will betray the results. Finally, he gave an interesting quote, “Honesty and integrity are the essences of self-esteem. If one of them is lost, never blame people if later we are no longer appreciated.
The celebration ended with a photo session with the leaders and managers. After that, the graduates are welcome to take part in a friendly session with the head of their respective study programs. The whole series of events ran smoothly from start to finish. (Y)
