The Master of Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) held a celebration event for the 41 years MD FEB UGM. The purpose of holding this event is to express the gratitude for the success of MD Program in 41 years and to strengthen the relationship of the big family of MD FEB UGM. The solemnity of the event did not diminish, even though it was held online through a Zoom meeting.
Tasyakuran was opened by singing Indonesia Raya and Gadjah Mada Hymne. At the first event, Mrs. Heni Wahyuni, S.E., M.Ec.Dev., Ph.D., the Coordinator from the Master of Science in Economics Program, was present as the representative to convey the report about the 41st Anniversary of MD FEB UGM. He said that there were six events held, namely MD Competition, MD Sharing (September 13th – 23th, 2021), MD Anjangsana (September 25th, 2021), MD Tasyakuran (September 29th, 2021), MD Seminar (October 2th, 2021), and MD Open House (October 9th, 2021).
Mr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D., the Dean of FEB UGM, was present to give a speech containing gratitude for all the blessings about MD progress in science and usefulness, which produces qualified alumni who can take part. He also invited all directors, lecturers, and education staff to continue being passionate about serving and producing quality educational programs, outstanding students and alumni, and supporting benefits for public.
During tasyakuran, the MD FEB UGM Timeline video and the 41st Anniversary speech video from the directors and lecturers were also shown. The excitement of the MD FEB UGM birthday event was even more complete by watching the Timeline video, which summarizes the journey of the MD FEB UGM Program so far. More than that, this moment can be an evaluation momentum, so that the future will be better. This event ended with a praying together.
