This collaboration has been going on for three years since October 2016 and will end in October 2019. Five host universities consisting of two universities from Slovakia, one from Poland, France and the United Kingdom and six partner universities from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand are very committed to this project. The REPESEA project focuses on improving research performance in Asia.

There are at least 3 (three) dissemination activities carried out by the MD FEB UGM team in Makassar. First, make a campus visit. In this case, MD FEB UGM visited three other campuses in Makassar in addition to Universitas Hasanuddin which was the host for the peak dissemination activity. The three campuses visited were STIE Tri Dharma Nusantara, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University (FEBI UIN) Alauddin Makassar, and STIE Nobel Indonesia. The MD FEB UGM Team itself was represented by Muhammad Afif Sallatu, M.Sc. and Tri Widiyanto, S.E.

Second, conducting a seminar at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Hasanuddin, which contains a general introduction of REPESEA and is complemented by two main discussions, namely: the System for Assessing Impacts and Quality of Research (SAIQoR) and the Final Project Conference, which are part of the output of REPESEA itself. Three speakers giving presentations related to REPESEA and SAIQoR, namely: Prof. Dr. Catur Sugiyanto, M.A., Nurul Indarti, Sivilokonom, Cand. Merc., Ph.D., and Rr Tur Nastiti, M.Sc, Ph.D., who are senior lecturers at FEB UGM, Yogyakarta. Third, hold a meeting of MD FEB UGM alumni at one of the restaurants in Makassar which is also intended to invite alumni to attend the Final Project Conference which will be held on 3-5 September 2019 at MD FEB UGM, Yogyakarta.

Through this REPESEA dissemination activity in Makassar, MD FEB UGM hopes to expand the area of dissemination of research capacity building activities in Eastern Indonesia. In addition, academics and researchers from Makassar are also expected to participate in the Final Project Conference agenda which will be held on 3-5 September 2019 at MD FEB UGM, Yogyakarta.
