Yogyakarta-26 August 2019. One of the third semester students of the Master of Science in Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada succeeded in becoming part of the International Global Network’s Ambassador Batch II Program. Erica, along with 87 other winners from a total of 36 countries, was finally named the Youth Ambassador after going through a rigorous selection process and participated by more than 500 applicants from all over the world. The selection process takes place during the span of June to July and consists of three stages, namely; (1) administrative selection; (2) selection of substance in the form of making several essays such as motivation letters, future youth project plans, and volunteering programs that have participated for; and (3) interview selection. The entire selection process and stages require qualified English language skills because during the voluteering period from August 2019 to August 2020, Erica will be the local organizer of the Model United Nations (MUN), Excursion, and Sasambo activities which will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia. Some of the benefits obtained by Erica include international identity cards, monthly incentives, networking opportunities with young people from around the world, and certificates as an International Global Network Ambassador.
Erica, Jember University Alumni, have special attention in the field of education and young people, as evidenced by his participation as a Labako dancer at the Student Culture Festival at Kamphaeng Phet University, Thailand 2017. Erica hopes to build a teaching community to provide informal education opportunities for school dropouts in the region Jember coastline. In addition, Erica aspires to become a lecturer in the future to contribute to the development of young people, especially after getting thesis supervisor, RR. Tur Nastiti, Ph.D with a concentration of Human Resources. Erica succeeded not only materially, but was able to boast the MD FEB UGM program where she gained a lot of knowledge, which in a creative and innovative way benefited more people.
