The Master of Science and Doctoral Programs of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held their graduation ceremony on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in a moving and enthusiastic atmosphere at the BRI Auditorium, 3rd Floor, MD Building, FEB UGM. This event was a special moment to celebrate the graduation of 38 graduates from the Master’s Program and 13 graduates from the Doctoral Program, who have completed their academic journey with dedication and high commitment.

The series of events began promptly at 12:30 WIB with a graduation report from the Head of the Doctoral Program in Accounting, Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M, M.B.A., CMA., Ph.D. In his report, he expressed his gratitude for the graduates’ achievements and expressed his appreciation for the perseverance and enthusiasm for learning they have demonstrated throughout their studies. Next, remarks were delivered by Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., who was present on behalf of the Dean of FEB UGM. In his message, he conveyed his congratulations and encouraged the graduates to continue upholding the good name of their alma mater, both academically and professionally.

The pride was further heightened when the award was presented to Bayu Setyawan Suprayogi as an outstanding graduate of the Master of Science in Management Program with a GPA of 3.96 and cum laude honors. In his remarks, Bayu expressed his gratitude to all lecturers, administrators, and staff for their guidance and support throughout their studies. He advised his fellow graduates to continue learning and to view every challenge as an opportunity to grow and contribute. He stated that true success is not measured solely by a degree, but by the extent to which knowledge can benefit others. Bayu also encouraged the graduates to remain humble, maintain integrity, and carry a spirit of collaboration and innovation in every step forward.

In closing, the graduates received their transcripts from the heads of their respective study programs. The event then continued with a warm and meaningful group photo session, symbolizing their appreciation for the graduates’ struggles and achievements. An atmosphere of gratitude and pride pervaded the entire series of activities, reminding us that graduation is not the end of the journey, but rather the beginning of a new chapter to contribute more broadly to society and the world.
