Yogyakarta – As one of the long-established doctoral programs, the FEB UGM Doctoral Program has the opportunity to share knowledge with the Doctor of Forestry program. Yogyakarta, February 18, 2021. The Master of Science and Doctoral Program of FEB UGM held a Webinar through the Zoom Meeting platform with the title “Finding the Right Size: Options and Challenges of Building Poverty Lines”. In this webinar, the speaker is Mrs. Vivi Alatas, Ph.D., the CEO of Asakreativa and the Former Chief Economist of the World Bank. The event, which is part of the Poverty Economics course, lasts for approximately one and a half hours and is attended by students of the Master of Science in Economics, FEB UGM.

As a form of welcoming new students for the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM who entered the Semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, Academic Briefing activities as part of the Researcher’s Enrichment (REACH) Program were held for two days on Wednesday and Thursday, the 3^rd-4^th February 2021. The activity held online via the Zoom Meeting was attended by all new students of the Master of Science and Doctoral Program FEB UGM.

Yogyakarta, 29 January 2021. The Master of Science and Doctoral Program of FEB UGM has held an Open Exam for Doctoral Promotion for Promovendus Benediktus Margiadi. Acting as chairman of the trial this time, Mr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D., as Dean of FEB UGM, also opened the session. Also present were Mr. Amin Wibowo, M.B.A., Ph.D. as the promoter, Mrs. Sari Sitalaksmi, M.Mgt., Ph.D. and Dr. C. Budi Santoso, M.Bus. as co-promoter. Besides, the assessment team was also attended by a team of assessors, including Dr. Reni Rosari, M.B.A., Mrs. Dian Ekowati, M.Si., M.AppCom (OrgCh)., Ph.D., Mr. Gugup Kismono, M.B.A., Ph.D .; and also a team of examiners, including Prof. Nurul Indarti, Siviløkonom, Cand.Merc., Ph.D., and Mrs. Rr. Nastiti Tour, M.Sc., Ph.D. Also attending were the families of doctoral candidates, colleagues from Ministry of  Finance, and all guests.

Acting as chairman of the trial this time, Mr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D., as Dean of FEB UGM, and at the same time opened the exam. Also attending were Mr. T. Hani Handoko, M.B.A., Ph.D., as the promoter, and Mr. Ely Susanto, M.B.A., Ph.D., and Mrs. Rr. Nastiti Tour, M.Sc., Ph.D., as the co-promoter. This open session was also attended by a team of assessors, including Mr. Amin Wibowo, MBA., Ph.D., Mr. Dr. C. Budi Santoso, M.Bus., And Mr. Sunu Widianto, M.Sc., Ph.D .; and also a team of examiners, including Mr. Gugup Kismono, MBA., Ph.D., and Prof. Nurul Indarti, Siviløkonom, Cand.Merc., Ph.D. Also attending were the families of doctoral candidates, colleagues, and invited guests.

On Wednesday, January 20^th, 2021, 25 Master of Science Students and 1 Doctoral Student of FEB UGM have participated in the graduation procession held online. Even though it is still in a pandemic nuance, it does not reduce the graduates’ enthusiasm to follow every procession through the Zoom platform.

Act as chairman of the examination, namely Mr. Amirullah Setya Hardi, Cand., Oecon., Ph.D., as Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Gadjah Mada, and opened the proceedings of the exam. Also present were Prof. Lincolin Arsyad, M.Sc., Ph.D., as the promoter, and Mr. Elan Satriawan, M.Ec., Ph.D., as the co-promoter. Also present were the assessment team, including Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, M.A., Ph.D., and Dr. Ardito Bhinadi, M.Si.; and a team of examiners, including Mrs. Eny Sulistyaningrum, M.A., Ph.D., Heni Wahyuni, M.Ec.Dev., Ph.D., and Dr. Evita Hanie Pangaribowo, M.IDEC. In this webinar, he acted as a speaker, namely Mr. Denny Farabi. This event was attended by more than 100 masters of science and doctoral students of FEB UGM.
