As a form of welcoming new students for the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM who entered the Semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, Academic Briefing activities as part of the Researcher’s Enrichment (REACH) Program were held for two days on Wednesday and Thursday, the 3rd-4th February 2021. The activity held online via the Zoom Meeting was attended by all new students of the Master of Science and Doctoral Program FEB UGM.
The series of Academic Briefing and REACH Program activities were opened with remarks and Reports from the Representatives of the Coordinator of MD FEB UGM, Prof. Mamduh Mahmadah Hanafi, M.B.A., Ph.D, as well as the Head of the Doctor of Management Science Program. The Dean of FEB UGM, Mr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D., also gave a speech and welcomed all new students at MD.
On the first day, the activity divided into three event sessions will discuss the Vision and Mission, FEB Values, the MD FEB UGM Curriculum, Academic and Non-Academic Regulations for the MD FEB UGM Program, Campus Life and Time Management filled by MD FEB Managers. UGM. As the closing ceremony on the first day, the Academic section of MD FEB UGM provided information on the implementation of lectures and exams and procedures for filling out the Study Plan Card.
On the second day, the event began with UGM Philosophy material with Prof. Dr. dr. Sutaryo, Sp.A. (K) as the speaker. Followed by material about Student Centered Learning (SCL) taught by Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M., M.B.A., Ph.D. And Academic Support Tools with Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, M.A., Ph.D. as a speaker at the same time introducing the educational staff at MD FEB UGM. Not to forget, student organizations in the MD FEB UGM, FORKOMSI and IMADEBGAMA, were also presented on this second day.
