One of the fourth semester students on Master of Accounting Science, Master and Doctoral Program (MD), Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University, Sariyatul Ilyana won the highest award as an Accounting Technician Course Instructor, at the annual event held by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendibud) in collaboration with the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands titled “Appreciation of Education Teachers (GTK) PAUD and Community Education (Dikmas) Achieving and Dedicated 13th in National Level”. Ilyana, her nickname, represents DI Province. Yogyakarta to compete in the Accounting Technician Course instructor competition category from a number of 22 categories of appreciation types attended by 445 best delegates from all provinces in Indonesia.

Arthur Sitaniapessy, M.Sc., is a student of Management Science Doctoral Program and a Lecturer of Ambon.
Master of Science and Doctoral Program The FEB UGM worked in collaboration with the Indonesian Management Doctoral Program Alliance (APDMI) and IMADEBGAMA organized Doctoral Colloquium and Seminar 2019 in the theme “Management Breakthrough and Doctoral Journey: 4.0 Industrial Revolution in Teaching and Research.” It was held on April 26-27, 2019. A number of 146 doctoral students from several universities in Indonesia registered in this event.
The first-day event, April 26, 2019, was held at Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta. The event was divided into two sessions. The first session was the opening and continued by the seminar. The opening was remarked by the representatives of the APDMI, Prof. Dr. Mts. Arif, M.M., M.B.A, CPM. as the APDMI secretary. Then, Kusdhianto, Sivilokonom., Ph.D. as Deputy Dean of Finance, Assets and Human Resources FEB UGM gave a speech and continued with the beating of the “gong” to mark the opening ceremony of the event.
During the seminar session, three speakers were presented on this occasion, namely B.M. Purwanto, Ph.D. as Mentor for Business Schools in Pursuing AACSB International Accreditation, FEB UGM; Prof. Rose Alinda, Ph.D. as Chairperson of the Ministry of Higher Education Task Force for Academic Programs Transformation for Industrial Revolution, Malaysia; and Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono, Ph.D. as Chair of the Accounting Science S3 Study Program FEB UGM. The seminar was moderated by Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, Ph.D.
B.M. Purwanto, Ph.D. discussed a topic related to the Contribution of International Accreditation to the Business School Quality Assurance. Dr. B.M. Purwanto explained how the process to get AACSB accreditation – one of the international accreditations for business schools. The discussion related to this was followed by a presentation from Prof. Rose Alinda, Ph.D. discussing the Development of an Educational Curriculum in the Industrial Revolution 4.0. On this occasion, Prof. Rose explained about curriculum development which is part of the transformation of the education ecosystem. This is marked by changes in student profiles, entrepreneurial learners, disruptive technology, and future needs. Furthermore, Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono, Ph.D. also provide material by raising topics related to the Impact and Anticipation of Teaching Methods and Research in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. On this occasion, Prof. Jogy explained how the industry developed from 1.0 to 4.0. This development also has an impact on adjustments that must be carried out by educational institutions.
In the second session, the committee divided the event into two forums. The first forum was attended by APDMI members who focused on discussing the management of APDMI and the S3 program. Meanwhile, the second forum was attended by doctoral students who participated in Doctoral Colloquium and Seminar. In the second forum, Nurul Indarti, Sivilokonom., Cand. Merc., Ph.D. and a student of the FEB UGM S3 Management Program, Mr. Andy Lukito delivered the material of bibliometric. In this material, Dr. Nurul explained the importance of the literature review in conducting research. To support the literature review, one of the things that can be considered to be done is bibliometric. Bibliometric is a new approach that is more specific in the study of literature. In bibliometric, Mr. Andy explained more specifically the use of software for conducting bibliometric research, including Publish or Perish and Vos Viewer. The event at the second forum was continued by a sharing session from IMADEBGAMA which discussed the journey to become a doctoral student at FEB UGM.
Doctoral Colloquium on the second day was attended by 129 presenters and 17 participants who all participated in the DCS on the first day. In this event, the committee divided the presentation session into ten classes. These classes are classified according to the same big theme from the abstract that has been sent by the presenter. Doctoral Colloquium was indeed followed by three study programs, namely Management, Economics, and Accounting. At each class, there were also at least two reviewers. The presentation was also divided into three different sessions. This event is beneficial for doctoral students because most students felt that through this event they got a lot of input from reviewers and other participants. (TLU)

Daru Asih, S.E., M.Sc. officially holds doctorate degree as 4438th at Universitas Gadjah Mada, and the 268th at the Faculty of Economics and Business, with a very satisfying predicate with a dissertation title “Religiosity and Spirituality: Measurements and Their Effects on Religion and Shopping Orientation”.
