In this period, FEB UGM has graduated 24 students, with details of 19 students from the Master of Science Program and 5 students from the Doctoral Program. Based on the details, there were 6 students from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, 2 students from the Master of Science in Economics Program, and 11 students from the Master of Science in Management Program. In Doctoral Program, 2 students from the Doctoral Program in Accounting and 3 students from the Doctoral Program in Management.

The Doctoral Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM received a visit from the YKPN School of Economics (STIE). The visit was conducted online in the context of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) related to the opening of the Accounting Doctoral Program at STIE YKPN. In this event, the FGD team from STIE YKPN opened the event by clearly conveying the purpose of the visit, including the points to be discussed in the FGD activity. In the initial presentation, the team from STIE YKPN said that many of the teaching staff or lecturers at YKPN had obtained professor positions, so they met the requirements to establish a Doctoral Program. They want to learn and listen to the experiences of lecturers from FEB UGM in running the Doctoral Program.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has held an open examination for the promotion of Doctor of Management Science for a Ph.D. candidate, Mychelia Champaca. Prof. Nurul Indarti, Sivilokonom, Cand.Merc., Ph.D., Head of the Management Doctoral Program, acted as Chair of the Session. In this Open Examination, presented Prof. Mamduh M. Hanafi, M.B.A., Ph.D. as a promoter, and I Wayan Nuka Lantara, M.Si., Ph.D. also Bowo Setiyono, M.Com., Ph.D., M.B.A. as co-promoter. In addition, the assessment team was also present, which included Prof. Eduardus Tandelilin, M.B.A., Ph.D., Eddy Junarsin, M.B.A., Ph.D., and Prof. Irwan Trinugroho, M.Sc., Ph.D. The team of examiners in this trial was Agus Setiawan, M.Soc., Ph.D. and Prof. Marwan Asri, M.B.A., Ph.D. Also attending were the families of the doctoral candidates, work relatives from Universitas Brawijaya, and invited guests.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has held an open examination for doctoral promotion in Accounting Science for Ph.D. candidate Riki Martusa. Rusdi Akbar, M.Sc., Ph.D., CMA., Ak., CA., Head of the Accounting Doctoral Program, acted as Chair of the Session. In the Open Examination, presented Prof. Indra Wijaya Kusuma, M.B.A., Ph.D. as the promoter and Dr. Ratna Nurhayati, S.E., M.Com., Ph.D. also Singgih Wijayana, S.E., M.Comm., Ph.D. as co-promoter. In addition, the assessment team was also present which included Zuni Barokah, M.Comm., Ph.D., Dian Kartika Rahajeng, M.Sc., Ph.D., and Choirunnisa Arifa, M.Sc., Ph.D. The team of examiners in this trial was Prof. Suwardjono, M.Sc., Ph.D. and Dr. Ratna Candra Sari, M.Sc. In the Open Examination, presented Sony Warsono, MAFIS, Ph.D. as the promoter and Prof. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Akt. also Ertambang Nahartyo, M.Sc., Ph.D.as co-promoter. The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM participated in the Kyoto Winter School activities organized by The Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University. The activity was successfully carried out online through a Zoom meeting starting from February 28 – March 12, 2022. This activity aims to provide the understanding and facilitate critical, productive, collaborative, and creative discussions, related to ecological health, social equality, empowerment and cultural creativity in the country’s territory, parts of East and Southeast Asia, leading to compromised inclusivity and long-term sustainability.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has successfully held an anti-corruption public lecture with the topic “We are All Victims of Corruption” to enrich students about the dangers of corruption and the benefits of implementing anti-corruption culture. The speaker in the public lecture was Mr. Rimawan Pradiptyo, M.Sc., Ph.D. The event was held virtually through a Zoom Meeting with a total of 79 participants consisting of Master of Science and Doctoral Program students of FEB UGM.

Singapore Management University (SMU) School of Accountancy held an Accounting Masters Online Data Camp with the topic “Digital Transformation & Financial Analytics using Python.” The activity was successfully held online on January 10^th – 22^nd, 2022. The purpose of this event is to provide participants with an introduction to accounting data analytics programs and knowledge of current accounting industry trends.
