The Masters Student Communication Forum (FORKOMSI) held an MD Competition as part of a series of events for the Lustrum 8 Masters in Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM). This program aims to explore various innovative ideas in the form of a creation from MD students. In addition, these creative innovations are used as an effective medium to promote the MD FEB UGM program. The MD Competition category consists of: (1) Non-Medical Mask Design; and (2) Video Presentation: Highlight Your Course.

Yogyakarta-Saturday, September 26th, 2020. MD Berbagi is one the Lustrum 8 series events for the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM. This activity is implemented in a webinar entitled “Bias in Research and Methods of Mitigation”. This webinar is a panel presentation of 14 materials which take place at 08.00-16.00 WIB which is a teaser for the book chapter published by MD FEB UGM 2020 with the same title. The book chapter consists of 14 thematic research bias in the fields of accounting research, economics, and work management from the collaboration of lecturers and students of the MD FEB UGM Program.
Yogyakarta-Friday, September 25th, 2020. The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM held a webinar with the theme on “Quality Management of Higher Education, 40 years of insight confirms values” as part of the 8th Lustrum MD FEB UGM series events. The activity which was attended by 85 participants who are alumni and program managers of higher education institutions took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
This webinar was opened by Amirullah Setya Hardi, Ph.D, Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni representing the Dean of FEB UGM, Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. In his remarks, he said that in managing the quality of higher education, it must start from a structured planning, selecting appropriate inputs, an implementation process that requires high commitment and integrity and being able to well adapt during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Yogyakarta-September 24th, 2020. Ahmad Maulin Naufa, SP., M.Sc., a student of the Doctor of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, won the 1st place in the Best Paper Scopus Category at the Sharia Economic and Financial Research Forum (FREKS). FREKS is one of the OJK’s annual programs along with the Indonesian Islamic Economists Association (IAEI). The theme of this FREKS XVIII is “Building a Sustainable Islamic Economy and Finance through the Synergy of Halal Industry Development, Technology Adoption, and Financial Inclusion”.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) held a virtual new Student Briefing and Welcoming. A total of 118 students participated in this activity consisting of regular program students and the matriculation program.

Quinci Fransiska, SE., M.Sc., Lecturer at the Management Study Program at the Cendrawasih University successfully achieve “Very Satisfying” predicate in the Open Examination, Doctoral in Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The student who supervised by Prof. Marwan Asri, MBA., Ph.D., was able to defend her dissertation in front of a team of examiners entitled “The Determinants of Non-Interest Income and the Effect of Income Diversification on Risks to the Banking Industry in Indonesia”.
Yogyakarta-August 26th, 2020. Ahmad Maulin Naufa and Muizzudin, Students of Doctoral in Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, won 3rd place in the Call for Paper held by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in the Academic Category.
