The Master of Science and Doctoral Program FEB UGM held an academic briefing webinar for master’s students batch 2020/1, which divided into two sessions. The briefing program session II was held in the afternoon at 04.15 – 05.15 p.m. Session II was attended by master students of Science in Accounting study program. There was Mrs. Zuni Barokah, M.Coom., Ph.D., who is the Head of the Master of Science in Accounting Program, as the speaker of this program.

The briefing program was held in two sessions, in which the first session was held at noon at 01.30 – 03.00 p.m. Session I was attended by master students from the Science in Management and Science in Economics study programs, also several students from the Science in Accounting.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program in Economics FEB UGM held a stadium general with the theme “Poverty and Social Protection in Indonesia.” The stadium general is a routine agenda that aims to increase students’ knowledge. At this public lecture session, Mr. Sudarno Sumarto, Ph.D., attend as a speaker. All participants consisting of Master of Science and Doctoral students of FEB UGM are actively involved in the success of the event from beginning to end.

A total of 54 graduates attended an online event organized by the Masters and Doctoral (MD) Program FEB UGM. This virtual forum begins with the submission of a report on the statistical data of graduates by Prof. Mamduh M. Hanafi, M.B.A., Chair of the Management Science Doctoral Program of FEB UGM, as the management representative.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has held an open examination for doctoral promotion in Economics for Ph.D. candidate Chandra Utama. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D., as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, acting as Chair of the Session. Also attending were Prof. Insukindro, M.A., Ph.D. as the promoter, Ardyanto Fitrady, M.A., Ph.D., and Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, M.A., Ph.D. as co-promoter. There was also an assessment team that included Prof. Sri Adiningsih, M.Sc., Ph.D., Dr. Akhmad Makhfatih, M.A., and Dr. R. Maryatmo, M.A. The examiners in this trial were Prof. Wihana Kirana Jaya, M.Soc., Sc., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Samsubar Saleh, M.Soc., Sc. Also attending were families of doctoral candidates, work relatives from Parahyangan Catholic University, and guests.
Yogyakarta, April 12th, 2021, the Master of Science Program FEB UGM held an online Design Thinking Workshop (DTW) through the Zoom meeting. The DTW which held entered in Batch 2 and 3.

The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has held an open examination for doctoral promotion in Management Science for Ph.D. candidate Rini Kuswati. Prof. Nurul Indarti, Sivilekonom, Cand.Merc., Ph.D. as Head of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, acting as Chair of the Session. In this Open Examination, present B.M Purwanto, MBA., Ph.D. as the promoter and Bayu Sutikno, MSM., Ph.D. and Bayu Aji Aritejo, MM., M.Si., Ph.D. as co-promoter. In addition, an assessment team was also present which included Dr. Sari Winahjoe Siswomihardjo., MBA., Yulia Arisnani Widyaningsih., MBA., Ph.D., and Sri Rahayu Hijra Hati, M.Sc., Ph.D. The examiners in this trial were Prof. Basu Swastha Dharmesta., MBA., Ph.D., and Dr. Sahid Susilo Nugroho, M.Sc. Also attending were families of doctoral candidates, work relatives from the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), and guests.

Yogyakarta – The Master of Science and Doctoral Program FEB UGM held a Writing Skill for Publication workshop which is one part of the REACH (Researcher’s Enrichment) Program. The event was held for 2.5 hours is a routine agenda to improve the ability of students in Master of Science in the field of writing for publications. The speakers in this workshop were Prof. Suwardjono, M.Sc., Ph.D.

Yogyakarta – The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM held a public lecture on anti-corruption with the theme “We are All Victims of Corruption” to enrich students regarding the dangers of corruption. The speaker in this public lecture was Mr. Rimawan Pradiptyo, M.Sc., Ph.D. The event was held virtually through the Zoom Meeting with a total of 52 participants consisting of students in the Master of Science and Doctoral Program FEB UGM and colleagues from the corruption eradication commission called KPK.
On Saturday (03/20/2021), the Master of Science program FEB UGM held an online Design Thinking Workshop Batch 1 through Zoom meeting. This event is one part of the REACH (Researcher’s Enrichment) Program. Design Thinking Workshop is a mandatory program which aims to create and improve students’ thinking skills critically, creatively, and innovatively. The development of this mindset will support the ability to analyze comprehensively, deeply, and systematically, so it is in line with the Master of Science program at FEB UGM, namely forming graduates who are capable of conducting independent research and knowledgeable with deep theoretical concepts.
