The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has successfully held a scientific discussion event, MD REFO, on April 27th, 2022. This time, MD REFO (Research Forum) presented Mr. Yusuf Aria Putera, Funding CVM Lead – Merchant Business at Bank Jago, as presenters and Dr. Sahid Susilo Nugroho, M.Sc., Lecturer at Universitas Gadjah Mada, as the host. This time, MD REFO raised the current topic, namely “Collaborative Network Strategy between Banking and Retail Crowd.” The event was also attended by Mr. Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, M.A., Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni, to give a speech.
On this occasion, Mr. Yusuf explained the evolution of banking from banking 1.0 to banking 4.0. Currently, banking has progressed a lot and has become banking 4.0, which has utilized digital technology and is connected to partner platforms. This responds to consumer needs for easier and more practical access to banking services.
In this MD REFO, Mr. Mora Nasution, Head of Learning and Organization Development in Bank Jago, was present and explained Bank Jago’s work as digital banking that facilitates its customers with technology-based services. He also explained the history of Bank Jago’s development.
The discussion on the collaboration strategy between banking and retail crowds has greatly enriched insight into the field of business strategy. It hoped that this event will able to increase the knowledge of participants and bring up various other strategies to further in developing banking services to meet customer needs to make it easier and more practical.
