The Master of Science and Doctoral Programs of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM), held its Graduation Farewell Ceremony for the July 2026 Graduation Period in a warm atmosphere filled with gratitude and pride. The event served as a special occasion to celebrate the achievements of graduates who successfully completed their academic journey while marking the beginning of a new chapter in their contributions to academia, professional practice, and society.
The ceremony commenced with opening remarks delivered by Nofie Iman Vidya Kemal, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Secretary of the Department of Management, FEB UGM. In his speech, he congratulated all graduates on their accomplishments and expressed his hope that the knowledge, experiences, and values they gained throughout their studies at FEB UGM would serve as a strong foundation for continuous innovation, meaningful contributions, and lifelong learning in their respective fields.
The graduation report was then presented by Prof. Mahfud Sholihin, Ph.D., Ak., CA., CPA (Aust.), who highlighted the academic achievements of the July 2026 graduates. He also expressed his appreciation for the graduates’ dedication, perseverance, and commitment throughout their academic journey, which ultimately led to the successful completion of their studies.
During the ceremony, Rieska Indah Astuti, the Best Graduate of the Master of Science in Economics Program with a perfect Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.00, delivered a farewell speech on behalf of the graduating class. She expressed her gratitude for the valuable academic journey she had experienced and extended her sincere appreciation to the faculty members, program administrators, administrative staff, family, and fellow students for their unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement throughout her studies.
The event concluded with a networking session and a group photo, creating a memorable atmosphere of warmth and togetherness. More than a ceremonial conclusion, the Graduation Farewell Ceremony symbolized the completion of an important academic milestone and the beginning of a new journey for the graduates to advance knowledge, produce impactful work, and contribute meaningfully to organizations, society, and the nation.
