Yogyakarta- Tuesday, October 20, 2020. PT. Pegadaian collaborates with Master of Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) as a facilitator in the Design Thinking Workshop (DTW). This activity is aimed at potential innovative leaders who are members of the Staff Management Development Program (SMDP). The purpose of this training is to train critical and rational thinking skills in identifying or defining organizational problems and formulating feedback in the form of offering creative, innovative, efficient, and effective problem-solving solutions—the series of DTW in cooperation with PT. Pegadaian with the MD FEB UGM program is implemented in three (3) batches, with 60 participants with 20 participants for each batch.

Yogyakarta-26 October 2020. Ten (10) graduates attended the online graduation ceremony held by Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD), FEB UGM. The virtual forum opened with a statistical report on graduates by the Chairman of MD FEB UGM Economics Study Program: Prof. Catur Sugiyanto, M.A., Ph.D., and open remarks by the Dean of FEB UGM, Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. Also attending the ceremony were the Coordinator Chairman MD FEB UGM: Nurul Indarti, Sivilokonom, Cand. Merc, Ph.D also the Chairman of Management Study Program., Chairman of MD FEB UGM Accounting Study Program: Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono M, M.B.A., Ph.D ., and Manager for Academic, Student Affairs, and Collaboration MD FEB UGM: Rr. Nastiti Tour, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Based on statistical data, a total of 10 graduates were divided into a. Five (5) graduates Master of Science in Accounting Study Program, two (2) graduates of the Master of Science in Economics Study Program, and three (3) graduates of the Master of Science in Management Study Program.
Nana Sari, S.E., M.Sc., in her speech as a representative of the graduates, expressed her gratitude to parents, all faculty leaders, managers, lecturers, and staff of the MD FEB UGM MD Program. She did not forget to convey his invitation to fellow graduates for the spirit to serve in their respective places. Hopefully, the knowledge gained can be useful for the society and country.

Yogyakarta, Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Hendrian, S.E., M.Si. Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Terbuka obtained a Doctorate after taking the Open Examination virtually in Master of Science and Doctoral Program of FEB UGM. Hendrian, S.E., M.Si, was able to defend his dissertation entitled “The Existence of Political Hegemony in Links with Audit Quality: Testing the Triangulation Base of Research Methods” in front of the examiner team.

MD FEB UGM held a Webinar in collaboration with Bank Indonesia (BI) Institute with a theme entitled “Policy Synergy in the Context of National Economic Recovery in the New Normal Era.

The series of the 40th Anniversary activities of the Master of Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) reached the summit of its celebration. The 40 Years MD FEB UGM Tasyakuran lasts for 1 (one) hour in a virtual forum and takes place in lively and familial nuances.
Yogyakarta-Tuesday, September 29th 2020. The Masters Student Communication Forum (FORKOMSI) held an MD Competition as part of a series of events for the Lustrum 8 Masters in Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM). This program aims to explore various innovative ideas in the form of a creation from MD students. In addition, these creative innovations are used as an effective medium to promote the MD FEB UGM program. The MD Competition category consists of: (1) Non-Medical Mask Design; and (2) Video Presentation: Highlight Your Course.

Yogyakarta-Saturday, September 26th, 2020. MD Berbagi is one the Lustrum 8 series events for the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM. This activity is implemented in a webinar entitled “Bias in Research and Methods of Mitigation”. This webinar is a panel presentation of 14 materials which take place at 08.00-16.00 WIB which is a teaser for the book chapter published by MD FEB UGM 2020 with the same title. The book chapter consists of 14 thematic research bias in the fields of accounting research, economics, and work management from the collaboration of lecturers and students of the MD FEB UGM Program.
Yogyakarta-Friday, September 25th, 2020. The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM held a webinar with the theme on “Quality Management of Higher Education, 40 years of insight confirms values” as part of the 8th Lustrum MD FEB UGM series events. The activity which was attended by 85 participants who are alumni and program managers of higher education institutions took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
This webinar was opened by Amirullah Setya Hardi, Ph.D, Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni representing the Dean of FEB UGM, Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. In his remarks, he said that in managing the quality of higher education, it must start from a structured planning, selecting appropriate inputs, an implementation process that requires high commitment and integrity and being able to well adapt during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Yogyakarta-September 24th, 2020. Ahmad Maulin Naufa, SP., M.Sc., a student of the Doctor of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, won the 1st place in the Best Paper Scopus Category at the Sharia Economic and Financial Research Forum (FREKS). FREKS is one of the OJK’s annual programs along with the Indonesian Islamic Economists Association (IAEI). The theme of this FREKS XVIII is “Building a Sustainable Islamic Economy and Finance through the Synergy of Halal Industry Development, Technology Adoption, and Financial Inclusion”.
