Yogyakarta, November 12, 2020.
A series of Design Thinking Workshop activities organized by the Master of Science and Doctoral Program FEB UGM and PT. Pegadaian has entered the second of the three planned batches. This activity will be carried out in three sessions, the first session on 12th November 2020, the second session on 13th November 2020, and the third session on 20th November 2020. This activity which was carried out online was attended by 20 leaders or prospective innovative leaders in PT. Pegadaian who are members of the Staff Management Development Program (SMDP).
The Design Thinking Workshop Batch 2 was opened with remarks from Mrs. Nurul Indarti, Sivilokonom, Cand Merc, Ph.D. as the coordinator of the MD FEB UGM program as well as a speaker. Besides, remarks were also given by representatives from PT. Pegadaian. The other speaker in the DTW Batch 2 was Mrs. Rr. Nastiti Tour, M.Sc., Ph.D.
The material discussed by the speakers together with the participants in the second batch is similar to the material in the previous batch, which is building company innovation and design thinking. The two materials are expected to be a provision for the participants to be able to complete the assignments given at this workshop and also in the actual work environment. As the closing of the series of events on the DTW batch 2 sessions 2, the participants were assigned in groups to make an experimentation report on innovation ideas during a predetermined period. Then the results of the reports that have been written by the participants will be presented to the discussants for input and feedback.
At the end of the DTW Batch 2 session 2, a photo session of all participants together with two resource persons was conducted virtually.
