Yogyakarta-Thursday, September 10th, 2020. The Second Day of Welcoming and Academic Direction for New Student continued with the Researcher’s Enrichment (REACH) Program. REACH Program is a series of ongoing events given to students in the form of training and workshops and is given every semester for 4 semesters.
Yogyakarta – Wednesday, September 9, 2020. The Master of Science and Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) held a virtual new Student Briefing and Welcoming. A total of 118 students participated in this activity consisting of regular program students and the matriculation program.
Yogyakarta-September 08th, 2020. Quinci Fransiska, SE., M.Sc., Lecturer at the Management Study Program at the Cendrawasih University successfully achieve “Very Satisfying” predicate in the Open Examination, Doctoral in Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The student who supervised by Prof. Marwan Asri, MBA., Ph.D., was able to defend her dissertation in front of a team of examiners entitled “The Determinants of Non-Interest Income and the Effect of Income Diversification on Risks to the Banking Industry in Indonesia”.
Yogyakarta-August 26th, 2020. Ahmad Maulin Naufa and Muizzudin, Students of Doctoral in Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, won 3rd place in the Call for Paper held by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in the Academic Category.
Yogyakarta-Friday, August 28, 2020. Doctoral Program Student and Alumni Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (IMADEBGAMA) held Sharing Session #2 entitled “Casual and Quality Talk” with the topic “Publications and Writing at UGM Sharing Session”. This virtual discussion forum was opened by the Manager for Academic, Student and Cooperation Affairs, Rr. Tur Nastiti, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Yogyakarta-Friday, August 14, 2020. The Association of Students and Alumni of the Doctoral Program FEB UGM (IMADEBGAMA) held the first Sharing Session entitled “Casual and Quality Talk” with the topic of Research and Publication in Reputable Journals. This event was attended by 43 students of the FEB UGM Doctoral Program, exceeding the initial target of 35 participants. The event which was supported by the Chair of the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM was considered successful with great enthusiasm from the participants.
Yogyakarta-August 13rd, 2020. One of the students in the Master of Science in Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, made an academic accomplishment. Azmi Muhammad Islam, SE., according to his concentration, Knowledge Management and Innovation, is a student advisory by Nurul Indarti, Sivilokonom, Cand.Merc., Ph.D., the Coordinator of MD FEB UGM Program.
Yogyakarta-Tuesday, 4 August 2020. Airlangga Surya K. M.Sc., alumni of the Master of Science in Management program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, won the best paper award at the International Graduates Colloquium (IGC). This conference is part of The 5th International Conference on Management in Emerging Markets (ICMEM) 2020 which was held virtually by the School of Business and Management , Bandung Institute of Technology (SBM ITB) on 3rd-4th August 2020. The paper presented by Airlangga was entitled “The Role of Openness to Change Value System and Positive Affect on Pragmatic Legitimacy Judgment: Company Familiarity as Moderating Variable” and was his thesis which was conducted with Dr. Rangga Almahendra, S.T., M.M., his master supervisor.
Yogyakarta- Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Nur Cahyonowati, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., an Accounting Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University, officially received a Doctorate degree after becoming a promovendus in a virtual Open Examination in the Master of Science and Doctoral Program at FEB UGM. This Member of the Indonesian Higher Education Tax Center Association (ATPETSI) was able to defend his dissertation entitled “Determining Factors and Quality of Tax Compliance: Testing the Slippery Slope Theory” before the examining team.
