The Master of Science and Doctoral Program at FEB UGM successfully organized an event titled ‘Elevating Your Research Process: How to Generate Interesting Research Ideas and Utilize Non-Conventional Data’ on August 5, 2024. The event featured an exceptional speaker from the University of California, San Diego, Prof. Samuel Bazzi.
The event was held at the Lippo Room, 2nd Floor, Master of Science and Doctoral Building, FEB UGM, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM WIB.
The event was warmly received by the students and academics in attendance, as the topics discussed were highly relevant to the current challenges in research. Prof. Samuel Bazzi shared deep insights on how to develop innovative and interesting research ideas, as well as how to utilize non-conventional data to enrich research. In his presentation, Prof. Bazzi provided various examples and shared his experiences with the participants.
During the Q&A session, several students expressed their interest in the topic, accompanied by a constructive discussion. This event is expected to inspire and encourage participants in their research within the academic environment of FEB UGM before concluding with a group photo session.
