On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, specifically the Master of Science in Economics Program, held a program evaluation and farewell session for exchange students from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France. The event, which took place in the MD FEB UGM Batasan Room, was attended by the Head of the Master of Science in Economics Study Program, Rimawan Pradiptyo, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D.; the Secretary of the Department of Economics, Wisnu Setiadi Nugroho, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D.; and the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Economics, Muhammad Ryan Sanjaya, S.E., M.Int.Dev.Ec., Ph.D., as well as three exchange students: Fanny Meunier, Juliette Schwab, and Margot Vignier.
This activity provided a forum for international students to gain direct feedback regarding their academic experiences while studying in the Master of Science in Economics Program at FEB UGM. During the discussion, the students provided constructive feedback and expressed their appreciation for the diversity of courses offered. They noted that the various courses provided not only provided a comprehensive understanding of economics but also enriched their perspectives through diverse and multidisciplinary approaches.
Despite some challenges during their studies, the three exchange students reported that their experience in the Master of Science in Economics Program at FEB UGM was very memorable and rewarding. They appreciated the conducive academic environment, the opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives, and the support provided by the lecturers and program administrators throughout their academic activities at FEB UGM. The activity closed with a friendly session as a form of appreciation for the participation of the exchange program students and as a marker of the end of their study period at FEB UGM.
