The Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) FEB UGM has successfully held a scientific writing workshop on August 3rd, 2022. This workshop namely “Zotero Optimization for Reference Management” and presented Dr. Julianto Agung Saputro, S.Kom., M.Sc., Ak., CA., Alumni of the Master of Science and Doctor Program FEB UGM. The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Jogiyanto Hartono M., M.B.A., Ak., CMA., CA., Head of the Doctoral Program in Accounting FE UGM, to give a speech. This training was attended by 60 participants, who are FEB UGM student from undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels.
On this occasion, Mr. Agung introduced the advantages of Zotero software compared to others, its functions, and how to operate it. He also explained that Zotero can be accessed for free and has been widely used, as evidenced by its ranking in the first position. This software classified as user-friendly. It responds to user needs in managing references, whether in the form of articles, papers, or books.
In this workshop, Mr. Agung also guided the workshop participants to use Zotero, starting from downloading the application, installing it, and operating its various functions. He also explains every part of the Zotero software. By holding this workshop, is hoped that participants can be more effective in managing any references to support academic activities.
The presentation was followed by a question and answer session. Many participants were involved in the question and answer session and were very enthusiastic about listening to further explanations. The training event, which held for 1.5 hours went smoothly and closed with a group photo. (Y)
