Yogyakarta- Wednesday, January 23th 2019, the Master of Science and Doctoral Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (MD FEB-UGM) released 43 graduates from the 3rd Floor of the BRI Auditorium, MD FEB UGM building. The graduation ceremony for the period of January 2019 was attended by Kusdhianto Setiawan, Sivilekonom., Ph.D. as Deputy Dean of Finance, Assets and Human Resources, Prof. Jogiyanto HM, MBA., Ph.D as the Coordinator and Director of the Accounting Program, Nurul Indarti, Sivilekonom., Cand Merc., Ph.D as Director of the Management Program, and Rr. Tur Nastiti, Ph.D as Manager of Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation.
The release of graduates began at 11.00 WIB with the submission of graduation reports by Rr. Tur Nastiti, Ph.D. In this period the MD FEB UGM program released 43 graduates with details of 15 graduates from the Magister Science of Accounting, 18 graduates from the Magister Science of Management, and ten graduates from the Magister Science of Economics. The youngest graduate is Nadia Fazira from the Magister Science of Economics. Nadia reaches her Masters in Science at the age of 24 years. The average study period of graduates is 25 months, with details of the 23-month Magister Science of Management, 21-month Magister Science of Economy, and 30 months Magister Science of Accounting. The highest GPA was achieved by Dielanova Wynni Yuanita from the Master of Science Accountancy Study Program namely 3.96. On this occasion it was also mentioned that there were eight students with cum laude predicate namely Dielanova Wynni Yuanita, Lufi Yuwana Mursita, Ade Yuniati, Nurul Anwar, Purwaka Hari Setyawan, Rizqi Umar Al-Hashfi, Shesta Purnamasari, and Randi Kurniawan.
After delivering the graduation report, the event continued with remarks by Kusdhianto Setiawan, Sivilekonom., Ph.D. congratulate the graduation and ask to continue to bring the values that have been obtained while studying at MD FEB UGM. Then, the graduation representative’s speech was delivered by Dielanova Wynni Yuanita, who in her remarks Dielanova expressed her gratitude to the MD FEB UGM program for teaching, knowledge, and experience gained while studying at MD FEB UGM.
The graduation release event is closed by providing a transcript of the grades of graduates as well as taking pictures together. Congratulations to the graduates, hopefully, they will be blessed with their knowledge and benefit others. (DYR)
